Dealing With Everyday Hurt
Have you ever noticed, that sometimes out of the blue, your friend or someone you really value in life says something, which creates an uneasy feeling and sometimes or most of the time, it is for no apparent reason. You feel where did this.come from and why did this person say something like this. Many a times in life we feel like this. How can we deal with this??
1) Feel your feelings: It's good to feel your feelings. Why you feel this way, what is the reason. Most of the time, the things or words which are merely harmless, stir up things inside us. This at times is because of past hurts or are our own issues and personalities. Some of us are sensitive creatures, some of us have been hurt in the past, or someone has wronged us earlier, and if the situation or words are little close, it will bring up all the past hurt. So inner inspection, introspection is very crucial.

2) Look at things from that persons perspective: We all have different beliefs systems, different upbringing, exposure to different kinds of environment. Each one of us, is a creation of our own beliefs and situations, we have faced in life. So try understanding the other persons perspective. In most of the cases, that loved one might not even have intended to hurt you.
3) Try positivism: If u feel hurt, tell yourself, am not weak to get affected by such a small thing. I am a strong person and this person loves me a lot and he doesn't mean any harm. Keep repeating this to yourself about this person. Sooner or later you will be amazed at the results.
4) Talk to the person: If this is something which really bothers or effects you, then having a dialogue and sharing your heart is the best thing. Talk to the person and try to understand their point of view.
Words are something which make or break a relationship, they cause happiness, hurt and pain.Life is short, so let's not assume things, but try and solve them and be happy.
